My husband and I first met Gwen at an open house in early 2009, and had come to the conclusion that we needed a new realtor about the same time she was giving us a follow-up phone call. I remember telling her, "It's your lucky day!" But in fact, it was ours! From that moment on, Gwen helped us through every hurdle that confronted us...from pre-qualifying, to finding a property, to making an offer/then responding to the counter offer, to three appraisals, multiple trips to probate court, multiple home inspections and changing lenders...all the paperwork - and made sure we always understood what was happening. Sound challenging?
Well it was. The property had been in probate for years, the house was in very poor condition, and the children of the deceased were very uncooperative and at odds with each other. To top it off, it was oversized for the neighborhood so even though we personally qualified for the loan, qualifying the house was an ordeal.We were in escrow for nearly 15 months (moved in July 2010), and there was so many times it seems as if the sale would fall apart. But Gwen had the tenacity to keep her commitment to help us purchase our dream home, our first home. It was the house we picked, and she could have told us to pick another house, or another realtor, but she never did. She never let go of our hand. And it is because of Gwen's dedication and her "achieve their dream" spirit, that I am writing this review from my home office, in my 3800 square foot 6 bedroom/ four bathroom house, which sits on 12,200 square feet of land in the middle of Los Angeles, in a cool neighborhood close to four major freeways.My husband and I don't make a lot of money, but Gwen used every resource she could muster to help us. When only a miracle would work, Gwen's work was as a miracle maker! She is an awesome realtor! Thanks Gwen!!!

This client lived out of state, we communicated by phone and emails the whole time keeping her in the loop had been renting to a tenant for years. Tenant occupied properties can pose a challenge when selling a home and attracting for certain buyers. Its important to know the market, tenant and landlord laws for the area and be able to educate all parties. I met the seller when we were in escrow with the buyers, a young couple,wife pregnant with their first child. House sold over list price!
Making major changes in the prime of your life can be hard. My client had live in her condo on the 2nd level for over 30 years. Climbing over 29 steps to get to her back door. At 77, doctor's were no more climbing stairs order and she replied "but I don't fall down"! Dr: that's the reason I want you to move. So she followed Doctor's order, we sold her house fully furnished and she moved to Atlanta; where her daughter and grandson lives. She is very happy living in her new place with elevators.
My Veteran buyer moved his family back to CA and they wanted to rent instead of buy a home. I asked why; come to find out they were told they couldn't use the VA benefits to buy a 2nd home.
